Now in its third year Trafic 09 was set up in order to close the gap between the makers of photographs and the public that view them.

Trafic 09 takes place over four days with workshops, exhibitions, debates and talks with some of the best working photographers in the business today.4 of 9
This year, peerless photo agency Magnum is represented by photographers, Antoine D'Agata, Chien-Chi Chang, Mark Power, Chris Steele Perkins, Bruce Gilden and Carl de Keyzer who will all be talking through their work with evening presentations.

Under the categories, No Distances, Form and Content, In Your Own Skin and Total Focus, both national and international photographers will be talking you through their individual work.

The aim is to bring new audiences to the art of documentary photography. All talks are free expect for the ones undertaken by Magnum photographers.

The events will take place over two locations; the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona - CCCB and the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya8 of 9

Through screenings by both Spanish and international photographers and contributions by photography collectives Trafic 09 hopes to encourage new audiences to photography by offering them new photographic experiences.9 of 9
