MNAC, in conjunction with the International Center of Photography, New York are running simultaneously exhibitions by both Robert Capa and his partner Gerda Taro who documented and took some of the most iconic pictures of the Civil War in the 1930's and 40's. Capa went on to take pictures of the Japanese invasion of China and the Normandy landings whilst Taro was a female pioneer in the world of photography but remained forever in the shadow of her partner and teacher Capa. For the first time you will be able to see the pair's work together with over 150 images from Capa's career.
Until 27th September.
