Born and raised in Florence, Italy, Marta moved to the United States in 2012 to attend Brown University. After graduating with a degree in Political Science and Urban Studies, she relocated to Barcelona to learn Spanish and explore the city’s urban landscape. Working for Metropolitan as an editorial assistant is great fuel for her interest in urban culture. Her next step will be to enrol in a graduate programme in geography, hopefully in Barcelona.
