Founded in 2001, Highlands School was born with the idea of delivering an innovative and distinctive Catholic education with a good level of English in Barcelona; now, in 2018 it is delivering this and much more. It is an international, private, Catholic and Cambridge International Education accredited school. Highlands is open to students aged between 1 and 18 years old. Students are welcomed and nurtured both academically, socially and spiritually, receiving a high-quality Spanish and English education. Being a Cambridge school, Highlands can deliver a robust and thorough English curriculum.
The main teaching language is English, followed by Spanish and Catalan, with the possibility of students being able to learn other languages such as French or German. It is located in the suburbs of Barcelona surrounded by open, green spaces. Its motto "Semper Altius" confirms the idea that a holistic foundation is necessary for delivering students who are well prepared for tomorrow's world.
