Established in 1973, EU Business School (EU) is an international, professionally accredited, high-ranking business school with campuses in Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux, Munich and online. It provides small, dynamic classes in English, with the best of both North American and European academic curricula.
EU offers programs at the foundation, bachelor’s, master’s, MBA and doctorate levels, which focus on business administration, international business, marketing, finance, communication, digital business and leadership, among others.
EU’s high-caliber faculty, in addition to having excellent academic credentials, are also entrepreneurs, consultants and business leaders who are current members of the international business community. EU’s faculty brings to the classroom a priceless blend of the academic and business worlds, offering students a first-class business education.
As a result, in 2017, EU was awarded a four-star rating in business school excellence by the world-renowned QS Stars Ratings, achieving a maximum five stars for employability, internationalisation & diversity and innovation & entrepreneurship. In addition, it is listed as a top 20 business school by China Economic Review. Its MBA programs are ranked in the top tier for global and European MBA programs by CEO Magazine.
Experiential business learning
EU uses a combination of classroom theory and hands-on experiential learning to prepare students for careers in today’s rapidly evolving and globalised business world. The school organises regular activities that give students an insight into real-world business practice outside the classroom. Prestigious guest speaker events with renowned international leaders such as Paul Bulcke, chairman of Nestlé, and frequent company visits to organisations like BMW, The United Nations, Siemens, Hewlett Packard and UEFA allow EU students to gain first-hand experience of the inner workings of global business giants.
Transfer opportunities
Through its global network, students can transfer between campuses and explore the diversity of Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux and Munich. This provides a great excuse to learn a new language and meet a variety of people from different cultures while experiencing new business-oriented opportunities.
Students can earn state-recognised degrees on EU campuses with the University of Derby in the U.K., the University of Roehampton in London and the Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM) in Spain. EU also encourages students to participate in exchange opportunities with its partner institutions in some of the world’s top cities including New York, London, Bangkok, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro and Moscow, to name just a few.
Two campus locations
In 2017, due to increasing student numbers, EU Barcelona expanded. Its new Diagonal building now complements the established Ganduxer building, providing more top-class facilities for students, spectacular views and a contemporary interior. Located on Avinguda Diagonal, the building is in prime position on one of the most important avenues in Barcelona’s business district - and it's just across the road from the trendy L’illa shopping centre.
The Ganduxer campus building also houses state-of-the-art learning facilities with floor-to-ceiling windows that take advantage of the natural light. Wi-Fi access is available across campus and every classroom has a SMARTBoard with a high-tech sound system.
International environment
EU has a student body comprising more than 100 nationalities with 98 percent speaking more than two languages. Learning in such a dynamic and multicultural environment provides students the opportunity to be inspired by people from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds.
International Summer School
EU’s three-week programme is suitable for high school seniors, undergraduates, recent university graduates and young professionals. Students develop their global business skills through a dynamic range of activities, including visits to renowned companies in and around Barcelona. They also discover the best of the city through a fun and interactive social programme, with the chance to sample traditional tapas, marvel at Gaudí’s masterpieces, visit Camp Nou and get to know the history behind Barcelona’s most iconic neighbourhoods.
