Resilience is a capacity as old as our origins otherwise we wouldn’t be here.
What I offer:
- Therapy and coaching sessions in my sunny office or balcony in Garcia. Also some people like to walk and talk, I can visit you at work and lunchtime appointments are possible.
- Therapy sessions on Skype with possibility of monthly face to face for those who live outside Barcelona or in UK and Portugal.
- Access to courses and literature related to your therapy.
- Workshops and talks related to resilience in individuals, families, schools and organizations and tailored exactly to your specific objectives.
Everybody is resilient, it’s just that sometimes we don't feel it, or we need a little time to recover our strength.

Therapy
Have you tried therapy before? Did you find it boring, or a waste of time? Some people have said this to me in the past. But therapy is a bit like yoga, you may not have found the right kind of therapy or the right person to accompany you back to your resilience. There is no right or wrong therapy, just the right kind for you.
Resilience
Why am I so interested in the idea of resilience? There is something so honest and intrinsic about it—people talk about resilience in every culture and every language. Many of your favorite films and songs are probably about resilience. In fact, everybody is resilient, it’s just that we sometimes don't feel it, or we need a little bit of time to get it back.
Mandala of resilience (photos above)
A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol representing the universe. In common use, "mandala" has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically; a microcosm of the universe. They appear in Buddhism, and also Native American culture in North, Central and South America.
I love mandalas because they are dynamic and come in many different shapes and sizes, just like people. The mandala of resilience has 7 pillars and can be useful to focus your mind and depending on what is going on in your life at the time - often you can gravitate towards the sense of humor pillar as it helps you to step back and see things with a different perspective, or sometimes the creativity pillar to get you out of a difficult situation, or sometime you just need time to reflect and be calm.
