Finding a Financial Advisor in Spain

There is no “typical” day at the office for Peter Dougherty of BISSAN Wealth Management. Mr. Dougherty also worked at Wall Street investment banks in New York City for twenty years. So, he understands US finance, too. This dual-country training and experience is helpful to Americans and other English-speaking expats in Spain.
But Mr. Dougherty’s efforts to assist expats in Spain don’t stop there. He recently wrote a second book, winner of the Literary Titan Book Award. It’s called: La Hoja de Ruta Fiscal y Financiera para los españoles en EEUU, and it explains in Spanish how American and Spanish tax and financial systems differ.
In 2023, Peter Dougherty published his first book, The Dougherty Code: Secrets of Financial Planning in Spain Revealed. In this book, Peter explains the financial opportunities and challenges facing expats in Spain.
