Don't know what to do in Barcelona for la Diada?
One of the main attractions of la Diada is the portes obertes (open doors) in celebration of Catalan National Day on September 11th. On this day a number of museums and historical buildings throughout the region throw open their doors for free to the general public. So if crowds aren't your thing, consider checking out of these historic locations.
Below is a list participating organizations in Barcelona that celebrate this Catalan day of remembrance with open doors and commemorative events. Note that for some, attendance is limited and advance registration is required—and they go fast. So make sure to reserve before they're gone!
