Welcome back to the Metropolitan Culture Corner, hosted by singer, songwriter and Metropolitan collaborator Tori Sparks. This month she interviews Croatian actor Luka Peroš, who plays the role of Marsella in the popular Netflix series La Casa de Papel (a.k.a. Money Heist). He lets us in on his acting process, shares stories from behind the scenes on set and explains how the global pandemic has affected him both personally and professionally.
The MCC last month featured world renowned Cuban-American visual artist Jorge Rodríguez Gerada about life, art, life imitating art and the current political situation in the US and Spain. Gerada is best known for his massive portraits, which can be seen from the air. He has been invited to transform public spaces in Barcelona, Beirut, Belfast and Washington DC, among others.
Coming up next month: Join us for an intimate conversation with actress, poet and the current “Madame,” of Barcelona’s own Prostíbulo Poetico (“poetry brothel”), Sonia Barba.
