Wayne Snow offers a contemporary take on the rhythms of his homeland mixed with neo-soul, alternative pop, soultronica and jazz. He performs at La Nau in Barcelona.
His musical heritage and upbringing in Nigeria was shaped by listening to artists like Sade, King Sunny Ade, Marvin Gaye and Fela Kuti, as well as his deep respect and love for Afro-Futurism. All of these influences were an integral part of his musical journey, and his mission to shape sounds and express his vision of the future has lead him to explore all kinds of sounds. Like Sun Ra before him, his goal is creative expansion.
