Percussion can be found everywhere: in the body, the voice, in metal and wood, in electronic and traditional instruments. Vanessa Porter finds it both in musical technique and in communication with the public, through a performance that is both absorbing, and at times even unsettling.

Porter, chosen as a "Rising Star" by ECHO (European Concert Hall Organization), invites the audience to embark on a dreamlike journey where their interaction makes all the difference in the intensity of her classical music performance..

The program will be completed by two works from established composers whose pieces also require the physical involvement of the whole body: Globokar's classic Corporel and Lang's The Anvil Chorus. In addition to these, there will also be two works for vibraphone written by up-and-coming composers Emil Kuyumcuyan and Alexander “Sandi” Kuhn.
