Fashion, art and architecture—the genius of Antoni Gaudí inspires a fashion collection created by Fashion Art Institute by Manuel Fernández.
This on-site and digital exhibition features dresses made by designers from all over Spain whose creations have been inspired by the architectural works of Antoni Gaudí.
Organized by the Fashion Art Institute, by Manuel Fernández, Sota la influència de Gaudí (Under the Influence of Gaudi) combines a series of unique creations in fashion, art and architecture, resulting in a multidisciplinary collection in which forms and colors dance in prodigious harmony.
The 19 column dresses designed by Fernández have become living canvasses for the creative expression of some of Spain's most prestigious young visual artists, one for each of the autonomous communities and two autonomous cities that form the Spanish state. The creators have been selected to favor and promote cultural and gender diversity, thereby fostering inclusion and cooperation between Spain’s autonomous communities.
