Celia Giraldo's debut feature follows the life of Pilar, an ordinary woman who has never questioned her routine. However, after she is dismissed unexpectedly, she experiences an identity crisis, clinging to the little that's left in her life: her role as a mother to two teens who no longer need her. Un lugar común is a coming-of-age film about a 50 year-old-woman who, after spending her life taking care of others, wonders: who will take care of me?

Film will be screened in original version.
