Please join Democrats Abroad (DA) Spain for a program about tax basics for US citizens living in Spain. The event will be run by the firm US Tax Consultants, which was established in 1965. The firm is knowledgeable about both Spanish and US taxation systems and the double taxation treaty that exists between those countries.

The person on behalf US Tax Consultants that will be presenting at the event is Mr. Antonio Rodriguez de Peñaranda. US Tax Consultants is a company specialized in the preparation of U.S and Spanish taxes with more than 65 years of experience. His mission with in US Tax Consultants is to help clients optimize their tax obligations, taking advantage of the Bilateral Treaty to avoid double taxation and offering a personalized and professional service.

Mr. Rodríguez is the CEO of US Tax Consultants, IRS Certified Tax Preparer since 2011, IRS Acceptance Agent and Financial Advisor & Consultant on Spanish and US Taxes. Previously, he was a freelance trainer in social and intercultural pedagogy, Program Manager at CIEE Spain, National Director of ASF Spain and member of the Council of Europe's Advisory Council on Youth.

He studied Geological Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid and was a Fulbright  Scholar at Cleveland State University. He holds a Masters in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School. He is passionate about continuous learning, entrepreneurship and innovation.

The event will consist of two parts. The first will be an introduction to the US-Spain tax systems, followed by a Q&A session where the firm will answer questions from the audience.

If you wish to participate in the event, we encourage you to send your questions in advance to Info-spain@democratsabroad.org. If due to time constraints questions are not answered during the event, we will endeavor to see that they will be addressed a later stage.

Democrats Abroad is asking for a small $15 donation to attend this  event. All proceeds will go to Democrats Abroad Spain.
