Tori Sparks and her trio perform at Barcelona’s newest, coolest live music venue. Its mix of western vintage, 1920s elegance, and quirky rock ’n’ roll fun is a welcome addition to the local scene. Austin’s celebrated its official inauguration in September 2024, and it’s quickly become one of downtown’s newest hot spots.

Born in Chicago, Sparks later lived and recorded in Nashville, and has been based in Barcelona for the past dozen years. She founded her own label, Glass Mountain Records, in 2007. Known as a force of nature onstage, she plays an average of 150 concerts each year and has toured in 24 countries, including festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland) and the festival Jardins Pedralbes (Spain). Her last four albums are a surprising mix of her native folk, rock, blues and roots music with flamenco fusion, called "a flawless fusion of styles" (La Vanguardia), "adventurous, pushing the envelope" (Rolling Stone) and “pure art” (Los Conciertos de Radio3).
