After almost two years of hiatus, Tómbolo is back, and this performance includes a show by Wayne Snow, presenting a sound of undeniable warmth, combining a contemporary take on the rhythms of his homeland with neo-soul, alternative pop, soultronica and jazz. His musical heritage and upbringing in Nigeria, whilst listening to artists such as Sade, King Sunny Ade, Marvin Gaye and Fela Kuti, has allowed him to gain a deep respect and love for Afrofuturism. It is an integral part of his musical journey, a quest to shape sounds and express his vision for the future.
