Thirst Street, Nathan Silver (USA, 2017)
Gina is a flight attendant traumatized by her boyfriend’s recent suicide. When one of her routes takes her to Paris, she allows herself to be intoxicated by Jérôme, a waiter with a murky personality, and his ex-girlfriend Clémence.
With this premise, Nathan Silver presented this black comedy at the Tribeca festival in 2017. An indisputable figure in today’s independent cinema, Silver’s cinema is characterized by its surreal stories and low cost productions that bring it closer to the underground cinema of the 1970s.
Film will be screened in original version with subtitles in Catalan.
