The Wizard of Oz, Victor Fleming (USA, 1939)
Dorothy lives at her uncles' house in Kansas. Suddenly, a tornado that crosses the region drags the house down with it. When the hurricane ends, Dorothy discovers that she has landed in a strange and wonderful world: Oz. Once there, she embarks on a quest with her new friends—the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion—to see the Wizard who can help her return home.
A film based on the novel of the same name by L. Frank Baum which, despite not being very profitable in its release, is, according to a recent study, the most watched film in the history of cinema.
Film will be screened in original version with Catalan subtitles.
