Nights of unconventional music, composed and directed by El Pricto and performed by Discordian Community. In their first show, they will present We Only Do It for the Tourists, a musical satire inspired by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention records from the late seventies, John Waters films, and texts of Discordianism—a satirical religion that venerates Eris, Greek goddess of chaos and discord. The work draws on elements of the popular imagination and themes from current affairs, developing them in an avant-garde musical context, with big helpings of free improvisation and free jazz.
