This documentary examines Keith Haring, one of the most prominent artists of the 1980s and how he influenced the creative landscape of his day. The film follows his early experiments from graffiti, video installations and pop pornography to his creation of iconic anti-drug and anti-apartheid images. Before his death in 1990, Haring traveled the world, made many friends and drew on any blank surface that was put in front of him.

Part of Haring's openness was a byproduct of his knack for self-promotion, but it was also a function of his idealism.

This documentary will be screened in English with Spanish subtitles.
