Jack Torrance takes his wife and son to the impressive Overlook Hotel in Colorado to take care of maintenance of the facilities over the winter season, when it is closed and cut off by snow. There, he seeks peace and quiet to write a novel. However, shortly after their arrival, strange, eerie paranormal phenomena start to occur. The Shining is a masterpiece, a horror film adapted from Stephen King’s novel, directed by a Stanley Kubrick at the top of his game.
Film will be screened in English and subtitled in Spanish.
The evening opens at 20:45 with live music from NUBN, a Brazilian electronic duo formed by producer and saxophonist Júlio Marks and singer Marina Ribeiro.
