The Mystery Man exhibition takes you on a journey through the history of the Shroud of Turin since its discovery in 1357. Organized into six rooms, the exhibition offers a comprehensive exploration of the Shroud and breaks down the most important aspects of one of history’s great enigmas: Who was the man in the Holy Shroud?
This historical, artistic and scientific tour explores the forensic studies on the Holy Shroud, their impact on the Christian world and their influence on the representation of the image of Jesus, taking you on a journey through time and beyond science. At the end of this experience awaits a life-size hyper-realistic sculpture based on scientific and forensic criteria taken from the Holy Shroud, the representation of a man that could have been Jesus after his death.
