As twilight falls, the magic begins. From November 21st to January 12th, the art nouveau site hosts Els Llums de Sant Pau: a special nocturnal walk around one of Barcelona’s world-class jewels of modernism. The gardens of the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau will become the majestic home of more than 20 impressive and exciting lighting installations where the Christmas atmosphere can be perceived in every corner.
"Welcome to Christmas" will be the installation that will open the route that will guide visitors to the main square, passing through the spectacular video mapping of "A Time to Believe in Christmas" that tells the story of time and faith in Christmas, to the ice skating rink housed between the modernist walls of the Modernist Precinct of Sant Pau.
All aspects of Christmas will be present in one way or another. From love and generosity in "The Love of Christmas," to the excitement of gifts in "Christmas Gifts." It will pay tribute to Catalan traditions, such as the tio de Nadal and evoke the essence of Christmas in "The Cloud of Wishes," where wishes will become shining stars.
A range of food and drink options await you along the route which invite you to take a short break during your magical trip. Enjoy a variety of hot and cold drinks, from cava to delicious cocoa, satisfy your appetite with sweet or savory dishes served by Cal Blay.
