When someone comes up to you with the same old story that comebacks are always disappointing, remind them about Slowdive. These shoe-gaze pioneers are one of the best examples of artists whose influence following their split justifies their return. They were the cornerstone, the ones that reverberated throughout the soundscape in the 1990s. That’s why on their 2017 album, the history of distortion-laced folk tunes seemed to give them back what they were owed. 

Slowdive is still an echo that never ceases, especially after the release of Everything is Alive, their fifth album, the second since their comeback. Everything is assuredly alive around them. The British band will present it in Barcelona as part of their European tour.
