Posidonia Green Festival
to
Museu Marítim de Barcelona Avinguda de les Drassanes, 08001 Barcelona
Posidonia Green Festival is an international Eco-festival of art, the environment and sustainable development. It is a space for dissemination of knowledge and practices that promote the protection of the natural coastal environment while at the same time, an opportunity for sustainable development, culture and tourism.
The festival is a laboratory for sustainable solutions for the tourism sector which creates a field for experimentation, reflection and promotion. It connects, in an innovative way, the world of the ecology, sustainable development and art. The Posidonia Green Project supports the idea of balance between economic environment, social well-being and environmental protection.
This year's edition will consist of exhibits, talks, film screenings, and various workshops on sustainable practices. This festival is an international event that brings together similar initiatives and is also the developer of the Euro-Mediterranean network Posidonia Project, which is dedicated to an international campaign on Posidonia oceanica and its impact on the Mediterranean Sea Ecosystems (marine and terrestrial ecosystems). Speeches will also be made by those prominent in the environmentally sustainable community.
