Portes Obertes at the Palau de la Generalitat for La Diada

The Palau de la Generalitat opens its doors to the public for Catalunya's National Day.
The visit includes different rooms of the Palau including the Sant Jordi Hall where the flower carpet made for the festival will be on display. The visit also allows you to tour the institutional and monumental spaces of the ground and noble floors, including the Clavé Room, Press Room, Tàpies Room, Torres García Room, Room of the Kings, Government Room, Chapel of Sant Jordi, Sacristy and Sant Jordi Hall.
During the open house the carillon player Anna Maria Reverté will offer a selection of traditional Catalan songs.
September 11, 2024, 11:00-17:00, September 14 and 15, 11:00-19:00. Advance registration is required. Registration will open at the end of August on the Generalitat's website.
Other Open Houses for La Diada
In addition to the Palau de la Generalitat in Plaça Sant Jaume, the Catalan Parliament, located in the Parc de la Ciutadella features an open house.
Museums commemorating the day with an open house include the Museu d’Història de Catalunya, Museu d’Arqueologia, Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria, Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), El Palau Güell and Palau Robert, to name a few.
