Festival de Porta Ferrada 2024
to
Sant Feliu de Guíxols San Felíu de Guixols, 17220 Girona
Born in 1958 in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, the Festival de Porta Ferrada is the oldest summer festival in Spain, a unique spectacle on Costa Brava.
Rooted in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, the festival permeates every corner of the Catalan village with the best cultural activities in an incomparable scenario to fully enjoy all their proposals. In the streets, squares and venues, music and theater workshops, as well as many more complementary activities, bring the town to life over the summer months.
This year's program includes American baritone Gregory Porter, two-time Grammy Award winner for Best Jazz Vocal Album; Barcelona's own Andrea Motis, jazz trumpeter, singer, sax player and songwriter; singer and songwriter Madeleine Peyroux; and legendary crooner Tom Jones, to name a few. When you need a break the Espai Village offers cocktail stands and food trucks as well as live performances and DJ sessions both before and after the shows.
Shows will take place in six different venues of the village. See the festival's website for the full program details.
