Omar Apollo, a breakthrough in the music scene in an innovative and exciting way, lands at Sala Apolo in Barcelona for his Desvelado Tour. His unique sound has won over many people, but it has been his lyrics full of romantic longing and self-improvement coupled with expressions of cultural heritage and identity that have attracted so much attention.
With his upcoming album Ivory, the artist referred to himself as "just a kid from Indiana," and is breaking new ground, leaving all comfort zones with no looking back.
The 24-year-old singer-songwriter has already been nominated for a Latin Grammy for his collaboration on "Te Olvidaste" with C. Tangana. In addition, he is preparing his debut album and remains close to creative and experimental music. R&B is still the base, but Apollo is branching out with a fusion of funk, pop, electronica, hip-hop, reggaeton, corridos… As he says, "everything."
