to
Mooby Bosque Multicines 16 Rambla de Prat, 08012 Barcelona
Film still from "Coco Chanel Unbuttoned," Hannah Berryman (UK, 2023).
Fashion is the central axis of Moritz Feed Dog's programing. Edition after edition, the festival brings us closer to the richness and complexity of a cultural phenomenon in constant transformation. Fashion as a reflection of society and its idiosyncrasies are at the core of the productions and activities in each edition. The screenings and parallel activities that take place during the days of the festival claim the city and its streets as an inspiring source of the ecosystem of today's fashion.
Program
This year's edition kicks off with Tilda Swinton. Le Geste et le Genre by Pierre-Paul Puljiz (France, 2023), delving into the life of the iconic Tilda Swinton: cult actress, media star, art activist, advocate for independent cinema and icon of a unique fashion language.
But that’s not all. Explore the life of fashion legend Coco Chanel in Hannah Berryman's Coco Chanel Unbuttoned (UK, 2023), discover the brilliant designer behind the looks of Sex and the City and The Devil Wears Prada in Michael Selditch's Happy Clothes: A Film About Patricia Field (USA, 2023); meet the artist, sculptor and clothing designer who has dressed Madonna, Beyoncé and Rihanna with his irreverent pop references in Ethan Minsker's Scooter LaForge: A Life of Art (USA, 2023); uncover the fascinating history of one of the first black supermodels to appear in Vogue in Nailah Jefferson's Donyale Luna: Supermodel (USA, 2023); and finally, travel back to Reagan-era America in Stephen Kijak's Rock Hudson: All That Heaven Allowed (USA, 2023).
With 21 films on the docket and talks on music and fashion, influencers, identity and the human and environmental toll of our excessive consumption, the festival strikes a balance between the glamor and hedonism surrounding the fashion world.
Tickets
Hosted at Mooby Bosque Multicines, the festival offers a wide range of ticket packages varying from single tickets for €8 to six-show passes for €40. Almost all films are shown in their original version with subtitles in either Spanish or Catalan.
