At this exact festival and at the Palau de la Música, Dominican pianist Michel Camilo and Almería guitarist José Fernández Torres, Tomatito, met on stage for the first time. It was an experiment; no one could have imagined then that three albums and almost three decades later the duo would continue to be consolidated and in top form.

Now, they dare to interpret the famous Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo, a score premiered at the Palau itself on November 9, 1940 and which Tomatito has also recorded in the original version with orchestra. Aranjuez will be a unique evening in which Rodrigo's music will mix with the entire repertoire that the pianist and guitarist have developed over so many years of joint work. As Camilo usually says, a night of pure joy.
