After the death of her mother, Mia, a 10-year-old girl, has to be strong and brave, living alone in her village and taking care of herself. Fortunately, her father is still alive, but he works far away from home on the construction site of an ambitious businessman who intends to build a luxury resort in a tropical forest. When Mia learns that her father has been buried by a rock-slide, she sets out on an uncertain journey to save him.
