Born in 1996 in the province of Palermo, Matteo Mancuso is a musical prodigy guided from an early age by his father, Vincenzo Mancuso, a renowned guitarist and producer. At the age of 11 he was already participating in jazz festivals in Sicily; he studied classical guitar at a music high school and founded the Snips trio, gaining recognition for his fusion of classical standards.
In 2017, he earned a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music after excelling at the Umbria Jazz Festival. In 2022, he graduated with honors from the Palermo Conservatory and continued his career with a European tour. In 2023, he released his debut album The Journey and received praise from renowned musicians such as Steve Vai and Eric Johnson.
