Albert Bover and Mariola Membrives are two very different musicians with distinct personal careers.
They met following a piano concert and reading of texts about climate change by Bover in Barcelona’s tiny club Robadors 23 a few years ago. After some very creative and stimulating duets by Mariola with different musicians such as Marc Ribot or Massa Kamaguchi, Albert Bover thought of this new combination with Membrives.
Their repertoire consists of songs demonstrating a great diversity of styles — not for pure eclecticism, but for the ambition of stylistic freedom, taking the listener on an aesthetic journey.
There are two separately-ticketed sets the night of the show.
