One of France’s emerging jazz stars, MarcO Poingt trio, performs in Barcelona. Trained at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, Poingt has won prestigious competitions such as New Generation Jazzlab in Switzerland, and Jazz Connexion in his own country.

Marc-Olivier Poingt considers himself an explorer of the art of jazz piano, mixing elements of rock, classical music, jazz, and Latin rhythms. His successful trio experiments with different colors and textures in an evocative, multifaceted, contemporary and, above all, energetic approach.
