Make Me Famous, Brian Vincent (USA,2021).

The 1980s art scene is famous for groundbreaking artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, but there were many more whose names we may not even have heard of. This documentary brings to light the protagonists of this era while, unearthing the stories of many artists, photographers and stories we may not know about. 

This is the story of the art movement on the Lower East Side through an unknown painter. Set arguably in the last incredible artistic explosion in American history, it tells the story of Edward Brezinski's quest for fame while offering an intimate portrait of what it was like to be an artist in New York in the 1980s.

The documentary will be screened in English with Catalan subtitles.
