La Lom at Bikini

As part of Primavera Tours, the Californian trio LA LOM (The Los Angeles League of Musicians) brings a group composed of some of the staples of the LA music scene to Barcelona.

Although the career of this Californian trio officially began in the summer of 2022 with the release of their first EP, the history of LA LOM goes back six or seven decades. Their instrumental approach—close to that of Hermanos Gutiérrez, Pachyman or even Khruangbin—would have no raison d’etre without the songbook that built the mestizo musical identity of Los Angeles in the 1950s and 1960s. Listening to them is like tuning into a radio station lost in time. LA LOM arrive in Barcelona with their boleros, chichas and cumbias to present their first full album, The Los Angeles League of Musicians, this fall.
