Rossini is one of the greatest composers of all time. His legendary ease of composing and his creative genius are unparalleled.
Legend has it that, even as a celebrity, upon hearing Vincenzo Bellini's Norma, he stopped writing music. With the aim of bringing Rossini's life and work closer to all audiences, the Gran Teatre del Liceu has created La cuina de Rossini, which tells the story of two young people, Ross and Isabella, who, on a journey of friendship and discovery, will delve into a fascinating world that will lead them to the operas of the genius of Pesaro.
It's a magical story full of contrasts where the young protagonists discover that differences enrich them and in which modernity and tradition meet to understand and complement each other. Values such as passion for music, healthy habits, overcoming obstacles and respect for each other accompany them in their adventure.
Rossini, apart from his genius as a musician, was passionate about cooking. The recipes of La cuina de Rossini, however, are not only culinary! For children aged six and up.
