After their memorable concert last year, this quartet returns for two nights which will also be the recording for their live album for the Fresh Sound catalog. Together and individually, Bill McHenry, Ethan Iverson, Jordi Rossy and Masa Kamaguchi constitute the cherry on top of one of the most successful generations of contemporary jazz. From its beginnings to recent times, their work has been widely documented by the Barcelona label Fresh Sound New Talent, which celebrated its thirtieth anniversary last year. They also have a glorious career in the basement of Plaza Reial. Once again, Jamboree has the honor of bringing together four pillars of today’s jazz scene in a unique, magical evening, where they will perform a diverse repertoire with both familiar tunes and original compositions.
