At this point it is hard to find adjectives to define Joe Satriani, one of the most virtuoso guitarists of recent decades. His figure is essential to understand contemporary rock music. In addition to selling millions of records and accumulating up to 15 Grammy nominations, he has been the teacher and mentor of other outstanding six-string instrumentalists, such as Steve Vai, Kirk Hammett (Metallica) and Charlie Hunter. The New Yorker has been making his mark for more than 30 years through his extensive solo work and as a member of the G3 Guitar Extravaganza and the supergroup Chickenfoot (with members of Van Halen and Red Hot Chilli Peppers). He lands in Barcelona with The Shapeshifting Tour, a new world tour with which he premieres new material and recovers classics from his repertoire such as "Always with Me, Always with You" and "Surfing with the Alien" from the same-titled 1987 album that made Satriani a a global artist without borders.
