Last year Jesper Lindell became a serious candidate for the hardest working guy in the business. He gave nearly 100 concerts, either solo, with his band or accompanying the Swedish star Magnus Carlson. He recorded and published the EP Windows Vol 1 and completed his third studio album, Before the Sun, which is a celebration of his musical roots.

From New Orleans rhythm and blues to the country rock feel of Little Feat, with a tasty Ry Cooder twist, the album, recorded in his studio outside Ludvika with his band, The Brunnsvik Sounds, demonstrates the singer-songwriter's ability to absorb all the influences and sounds from his favorite recordings of the past and transform it into something of his own.

Vibrant, exciting and soulful music, with the imprint of the classic Muscle Shoals and Big Pink basement sound, as an organic approach to the "Americana" sound from Nordic melancholy, confirming him as a brilliant guitarist and composer with an incredible voice of his own.
