Irena's Vow, Louise Archambault (Canada, 2023)
When the Nazis invade Poland in 1939, nurse Irena Gut is transferred and forced to work for the German army, assigned as a housekeeper to a Nazi commander. Instead of keeping a low profile and staying safe because of her status and ethnicity, Gut will risk everything to save a dozen Jews by sheltering them in her boss's home.
Film will be screened in English and subtitled in Spanish.
