Gregory Porter, known for his rich baritone voice, soared to prominence in the 2010s with his captivating blend of jazz, soul and gospel. Drawing inspiration from icons like Nat King Cole and Stevie Wonder, Porter's musical prowess earned him comparisons to legends of the genre.

His debut album Water garnered his first Grammy nomination in 2010, followed by a win for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2013 after signing with Blue Note Records. Beyond traditional jazz circles, Porter's versatility shone through when a remix of his track "Liquid Spirit" by DJ Claptone became a sensation on Ibiza's dance floors, showcasing his ability to transcend genres and connect with diverse audiences.
