The Barcelona Grec Festival is the city's keenly anticipated annual festival of music, dance, circus and theater. It's a festival with a long tradition that forms part of the city's cultural landscape and connects fully with its artistic life. The Festival supports local production by showcasing some of the best creations of the collectives and artists that live in Barcelona, but it is also a window open to the world featuring some of the most interesting performers from other countries.
As always, there will be an extensive international program for talking about today’s world, but this year the festival turns its focus inward, with a special emphasis on artists who represent the portrait of a generation of Barcelona talent, accompanied by masters who have influenced them and have a personal commitment to new generations.
