The Safdie brothers, the new faces of American indie cinema, captivated Cannes with this adrenaline-fueled urban thriller. Connie Nikas embarks on an odyssey through the underworld of Queens in an attempt, as desperate as it is dangerous, to get the bail money to get his brother out of prison. A frenetic and hallucinatory descent into hell thanks to Sean Price Williams’ photography that received five Independent Spirit nominations.

Film will be screened in original version with subtitles in Catalan.
