Future Islands rose to fame with their fourth album, ‘Singles,’ and now return to the stage to perform their latest album, 'As Long As You Are,' the sixth of their career.
Over time, the band has gained discipline and direction: in their 2008 debut full-length album, their electro-punk sound lacked originality. The improvement as a band was evident by their third LP in 2011, where they were less concerned with bringing drama and fury to the table and more focused on expressing real emotion.
