While August provided an ample array of artistic street parties, September strikes back with an impressive collection to rival it. The second week of the month welcomes the Festa Major de Poblenou to the streets for 10 days of live music, exhibitions, sporting events, workshops and more, alongside the traditional Catalan festivities of correfocs (fire-runs), fire beasts, castells (human castles), parades with capgrossos (big heads) and gegants (giants) and fireworks displays.
