Festa Major de Solsona

Every year the Festa Major de Solsona is celebrated in honor of the city's patron saint, la Virgen del Claustro (Virgin of the Cloister.) It's one of the oldest festivals in Catalunya, going back to at least the 14th century.

In addition to religious events, there are also a series of traditional activities such as sardana and havanera dancing, fireworks, live music, theatrical performances, workshops, and, of course, the dancing gegants Solsona is famous for.
