Egg Festival in Sant Guim de Freixenet

Sant Guim de Freixenet is one of the largest egg-producing areas in Catalunya, so it's only fitting that each year the townspeople celebrate with the Fira de l'Ou! As you might have guessed, the egg takes center stage at this festival, and features numerous egg-related activities including with a free breakfast of fried eggs.

The program includes the Quins ous!!! exhibition, activities and workshops related to traditional Catalan culture (and eggs, of course!), concerts, children's activities and games, an artisanal food market with a variety of products from throughout Catalunya and a farm animal market where you'll see donkeys, Breton horses, ponies, Catalan guarans, mules, partridges, quails, mountain horses and more.
