Panelists
Shane Clark is co-founder of EAFA. He specializes in financial advice and investment management for Americans living in Spain. With over 10 years of experience in international financial markets, he designs balanced and diversified global portfolios for long-term returns. Shane previously worked as a portfolio manager at a Trust Bank in Michigan, and he holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Strathclyde. He resides in Spain.
Tom Zachystal is co-founder of EAFA and owner and Chief Investment Manager at International Asset Management, a US Registered Investment Advisor specializing in discretionary investment management for Americans living abroad. Tom has an MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird University in Glendale, Arizona, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential as well as the British Investment Management Certificate (IMC), and is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP™) practitioner.
Thomas Sneed is founder of Wicklow Tax Advisors, which assists American expats with their US taxes. Thomas holds both CPA and CFA accreditations, having a profound understanding of international tax planning and how it integrates with portfolio management. Thomas has a a Bachelors degree in Economics from Northwestern University and a Masters in International Business from the University of South Carolina. He spends his time between Barcelona and the US.
Sonia Velasco is a Tax Partner at Cuatrecasas law firm, providing Spanish tax advice to corporations and private clients. Former head of the Cuatrecasas private client practice, she has significant experience acting for international clients on income tax, wealth management and estate planning. She was based in the Cuatrecasas NY office for three years.
Roger Pi is branch manager at Banc Sabdell's revolutionary new Welcome Hub branch for international clients in Barcelona, which features multilingual advisors who specialize in international clientele as well as a coworking space in an architecturally ground breaking branch setting.
