On certain days of the year the Barcelona Maritime Museum opens its doors for visitors to see private spaces that are usually closed to the public. These places include the restoration workshop, the warehouse, the archive and the drassana workshop (where traditional boats are restored)—all are essential parts of the Museum that rarely visited by members of the public. These spots throughout the museum are preserved and closed off in order to guarantee the conservation, restoration and care of their exclusive collections. Each special date will offer a guided tour led and by a member of the museum staff.
